Em's got a new favorite shirt. She begs to wear it daily, and often won't take no for an answer. It was a gift from Auntie Carrie when Em was really little. I'm guessing the A-Mamas will appreciate the double-entendre of the shirt. She was "modeling" the other day with her Papa. If only you could see all of the corny things he does at the request of his daughter!
It's taking me forever to get around to updating here, not that I don't have ideas for blog posts almost daily. It's just that I never seem to take a moment to fit it in!
We are officially in the waiting phase of the adoption of our little Elijah. We're still on track to travel in June, although deep down I had hopes of traveling earlier. Still, June is approaching faster than I could imagine. Our official LID is February 20th, 2008 and if you calculate the averages from our agency that puts us at traveling in late June. Oh how we want to meet that sweet boy tomorrow!
Em is doing great, and we are trying to really enjoy every minute with her before we turn her world upside down! She is so much fun these days, so full of life and funny sayings and ideas. I can't believe that she will be turning three in just two months. I plan to do a more detailed update on what she's been up too really soon, just for posterity sake! For now I leave you with a picture of her making cookies with Grandma. She's got flour in her hair, an adorable expression and her fancy Valentine's apron that Grandma R. made especially for her!
