Em is at such a fun stage right now. It's amazing how much she is talking, she's a chatterbox for sure. I have to admit though, she's already got an accent. A brogue, actually. Ask her any question and she'll answer "yaaahhh" or "noo-uhh". (Can you guess where we live?) It's so funny.
Her sense of humor has really been developing. She's always been fun and easy going, but she's taking humor to a new level these days. She gets it when things are supposed to be funny and plays along.
Tom will say, "What do your toes smell like, Em? Bananas?"
She'll say, "Nooo-uuuhhh!" with a scrunched up nose and a smile.
Tom will say, "Like apples?"
"Nooooooo-uuuuuhhhhh!" same nose scrunch and laughter.
"What do they smell like?"
"Cheese!" followed by a huge grin and a belly laugh.
Tonight as we were cleaning out her closet she gathered up this snazzy outfit. She was completely delighted when she found the Valentine's crown in the other room. Those chunky legs sticking out of the art smock made me laugh to no end. Somehow this image sums up her personality these days. Adorable and hilarious.
